- My 5 year old has started asking “why are there no small potties here” anytime we go to a public restroom and its got me noticing how inaccessible so much of the public space is for children.
- After two days of refusing to go to the beach, the night before we leave, my 3 yr old wordlessly walked off the property, across the street, & onto the beach. I followed. She stopped at the shore, gazed at the ocean, then quietly said “ok I go back now” & turned & went back inside

- Replying to @KCDavisSaysI recently moved to a suburb. We spent the am at a public pool that had a shallow kid’s pool & went to lunch at a place with a playground. Kids all around. They are stimulated enough to not act nuts. I have enough space to be regulated, patient & engaged. This is GOOD for society
- Replying to @KCDavisSaysYet even these places don’t have small potties or sinks low enough for them to wash their hands.
- If you are a parent of little kids I cannot recommend enough having an ER go-bag. The first few times I found myself in the ER w/ a sick kid I didn’t have anything but the shirt on my back & a purse and realized just how awful it is. Here is what I suggest: 🧵
- Replying to @anatomkamuyIn her experience having one dog means you get a human-dog bond dynamic and having more than one dog suddenly gives you a dog-dog pack dynamic to manage.
