- This is ridiculous. Democrats are only close to controlling the House because of egregious gerrymanders in Illinois, Nevada, New Mexico, and California.FWIW, we’re in the range where it’s possible Republicans will hold the House majority by the margin of having re-gerrymandered North Carolina.
- Blowing up the filibuster? Packing the Supreme Court? Transforming the FEC to a 3-2 partisan controlled body? All way more authoritarian than anything Donald Trump or Republicans proposed or enacted from 2017-2021.
- Dan Crenshaw won by 14 in a district Trump carried by a point. That is, in fact, a path you want to emulate.Nancy Mace really swinging and missing after a strong, principled, promising start in Congress. Reminiscent of Dan Crenshaw—and that is not a path you want to emulate. Very disappointing.
