Pokémon VGC player from the US / 2018 NA International Finalist / 2019 Oceania International Semifinalist /2022 NAIC Semifinalist / 2x Regional Champion. He/Him
I placed top 8 at NAIC! I'm very proud to have top cut all 3 Reg G NA majors and break the tie for most NAIC top cuts in VG Masters. Finished 13th in NA and barely missed a travel award but still very happy to sneak into a top 16 stipend!
Breaking twitter hiatus to say this is completely unacceptable behavior and hope the attention this guy was trying to get was worth never getting to play in a tournament again
"It's over, Yugi Boy! With the power of my Millennium Eye, I can read your open teamsheet and determine which of your Pokemon have a Grass Tera Type or Safety Goggles!"
Dear stream team if you're gonna make players use default stream Switches instead of their own can you at least play through them and unlock more than 3 bgm tracks
Some takeaways: Wildbolt Storm is a fundamentally broken move. 30% to para both opponents? Yikes. Came in clutch many times. I really like Safety Goggles on it.
Basculegion is a button-clicking mon.
Hoodra walls physical HO ez.
Dragapult is great at countering control.
Exciting news, Trainers! 🥳

Getting DQd from San Antonio regionals at 6-1 because my opponent successfully argued that playing the Vs Terapagos battle music violates the Temporary Post-Release Restriction Clause
Sandsear Storm is hilarious because they gave it to a Pokemon that either gets boosted by Sand Force (can't get the sure-hit effect from rain) or Sheer Force (can't get the burn chance) and if you don't like either of those anti-synergies you can run it on the one with 145 attack
