28 wins. Two trophies. National recognition. We aren't just playing games; we're building a legacy at SEU. Proud of this group for raising the bar for everyone who follows. 🏀 #LetitRain
28–4. Sun Conference Regular Season Champions. Sun Conference Tournament Champions. #23 in the Nation. 4th most wins in program history. Second Round of the National Tournament. A season we will never forget with a group that made it so special. 🔥 #FueltheFire #LetitRain

Got a call 📲 from a recruit saying we were not a good fit for her yesterday. As I told her on the phone making those tough calls is difficult, BUT handling that situation correctly is one of the reasons she will do well in college and in life.

As a recruiter one of the traps we have to avoid is judging a player’s ability based on amount of offers received. - Some of the best players had very few offers and some of the biggest flops have a lot.

🚨Reasons to consider NAIA🚨 ✅Looser on recruiting rules allowing closer relationship with the college coaches ✅They award athletic Scholarships ✅Has the highest % of athletes that part. in post season play ✅Emphasis by governing body recognizing character athletes

Be thankful for any offer you receive to play at the next level. Any opportunity to play in college is a BIG DEAL!

☝️weakness of social media is that athletes are being taught the goal is to stockpile offers. The goal for you is to find ☝️school that you love, is a great fit, and loves you back. The rest is just noise so focus on what matters long term and what you can control.

Recruits as you head into the 2nd half of the live period remember: - Control the controllable - It only takes 1 offer - Enjoy your travel team and make memories! - Show appreciation to all those helping you - coaches, parents, supporters. - Most importantly - have fun!

Student athletes remember that you are still valued the same by God and your family regardless of what offer, accolade, or award you receive or don’t receive.

Remember it doesn’t matter if you tweet out that you scored 20+ pts. If you: - don’t get back on defense - have no 👁 contact with your coach - argue with officials - can’t keep your person in front of you on defense - never talk on defense #biggerpicture #recruiting101

3 yrs. ago I saw a young recruit smiling and playing as hard as she could. She loved the game!! Fast forward ⏩ to now when she rarely smiles when playing because of the stress the recruitment process has brought. Recruits never lose sight of the love you had for the game.

Just saw the best player on the losing team in a close game go out of her way to congratulate all those on the floor of other team on their hard work. Encouraging to see good sportsmanship is not dead.
