There's something odd about reporting in your own neighbourhood, and something oddly gratifying as well. My profile of Hauz Rani, after the fire in @IndianExpress, thanks to @umavishnu for commissioning and editing indianexpress.com/article/long-r…

.@sardesairajdeep 's show has those involved in #Covid_19 fight from every South Asian country, including Pakistan. Each of them is polite, glad to be invited. Two things emerge. We are too boastful, all our neighbours have low infection rates. And this is how tv must do news

Sometimes, it feels like #Congress is still in power or that it's the only political party which is supposed to be ethical. #Liberals love to hate it because its the only party that might listen. My piece in @indianexpress @IEopinion indianexpress.com/article/opinio…

In #Gurugram fear and apathy over #Namaz -- and the rich, the investors and "job creators", most likely to move away eventually. Meanwhile, those with no choice stay and soldier on. Did some reporting after ages @IndianExpress indianexpress.com/article/india/…

@priyankagandhi arranged for a oxygen cylinder and did so without fanfare. None of us knew her personally, she did not know us. She did what we hope people in public life will. Here, a pic of the cylinder being delivered to @sahirraza1986. Thank you, for saving a life

It isn’t surprising that #VijayMallya met #ArunJaitley before he fled to London. What does it say about the fairness of democracy when plutocrats purchase legislative power?

This, my grandmother, a communist for much of her life. Certainly, lesser sons of great sires a couple of generations on.
