Cops shot and killed a 17-year-old in a school bathroom and justified it by saying he shot a cop. They've now admitted the cop accidentally shot himself and suddenly no one is willing to say exactly what happened.

Decatur PD had body cam footage it showed at the press conference today. The chief said the store owner - who called them to report a robbery - was reaching for a gun when he was punched. Um...

Just reading about Calvin Ridley and thinking that NFL players are held to a higher standard than congressmen, who can legally bet through the stock market on every decision they make and all the insider info they receive.

Pardon me, @staceyabrams, I would like to sign Alabama up for ALL of your classes. Thanks.

As Republicans turn on people like Mitt Romney & US intelligence agents, I'd like to remind everyone that the crook they're stupidly protecting is banned from operating a charity in all of NY because he and his swindling kids stole from a children's cancer charity.

If you're wondering about the level of maturity we're dealing with from the right, the governor of Alabama blew off President Biden's visit to the state today because simply greeting the president and being cordial is a step too far for Republican voters.

In Fla, an 18-yr-old can buy an AR-15 in a private sale w/out a background check & buy 100s of magazines & 1000s of bullets w/o so much as a driver's license. Those are the laws. For when the gun nuts start screaming to enforce the laws we have

The "skinny" COVID relief bill that Democrats voted down on Thurs included exactly $0 in direct payments to American workers and $0 for state/city govts. But did manage to squeeze in $161 BILLION for the coal industry. Y'all thank Doug Jones and Dems for voting against that shit

Paula Cobia, attorney for Roy Moore accuser Gloria Deason, has released a new statement challenging Moore's denials. It is STRONG. #alpolitics #ALSEN

I have heard a lot of Alabama voters poke fun at Ocasio-Cortez, but let's be real: no one in Congress better represents the interests of average, working-class voters.
In my on-boarding to Congress, I get to pick my insurance plan. As a waitress, I had to pay more than TWICE what Iโ€™d pay as a member of Congress. Itโ€™s frustrating that Congressmembers would deny other people affordability that they themselves enjoy. Time for #MedicareForAll.
