FOR THOSE WHO CARE TO READ I honestly didn't expect this much engagements nd I felt so overwhelmed by everything. Over 300 DMs and I don't even know where to start, but overall, I am happy a lot of people saw that thread in positive light.

I dreamt it, prayed for it, worked towards it when I didn't even know how I'd get there. But here I am today, living it, and it feels so normal. #CertifiedCanadian 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦

I've also learnt that life is not a competition, just know yourself, know ur God, make a plan wherever you are and keep trusting God to make sense of ur "nonsense", cos most times, it's really not even about how hard you work , how much resources you have, or how much you know.

Can't believe I was head over heels for a girl that had no Job, no business, no source of income but liked flying uber everywhere, uses Netflix with #500 MTN data almost everyday. I will be working my ass off for money, Aunty will be sending me food pictures from IG vendors. LOL

It can be sweet o. I personally know a lot of people who had it easy settling in. Experiences really vary, some start slow and then have to restrategize, take a new course or something. But in the end, just be intentional about ur goals, work towards it, and be contented.

Well, I don't know about many countries right now, but for Canada. The first route you really want to look at is the Permanent Residence route. It takes time, but it's definitely cheaper than schooling, and you have way more privileges when you come as a PR.

And by God's grace, you will! Speak it into existence, work towards it, and trust God to sort the rest. This was me in 2020. I didn't even know where the money would come from when I started the whole process. I just took it one step at a time.
2021, I'm getting my ass outta this country for good. 2021, I won't end it single #SpeakingItIntoExistence

Oh definitely! Everything is more expensive here. High tax that u can't avoid...lol Its very easy to go broke. No free money. Snow is only beautiful when u're not in it. -35°C is not a joke. Coming as a student is fast o, but if u're not loaded financially, it can be rough...

It's not even about what's cheaper or not, cos you'll still need the a Doctor or Nurse after delivery. Water births are said to be less painful, more relaxing, and helps with labour

We all have long ways to go, but once u start ur journey, then u're good. I look at ppl who came here earlier and they have nice houses already, or those that are already so stable that they're already going on vacations, buying brand new cars, nd I also aspire to get there.
