Hey y'all. Asheville resident here. I know I've been absent from this page the past couple days. The communication grid is down completely across all of WNC. I managed to get out of Asheville and drove all the way to my family in NE Georgia, we are safe.

Today we went and talked to folks in Swannanoa, NC.
They have no power, no water, and are receiving NO HELP from FEMA or other organizations. They are living out of campers on the lots where their homes used to be.

I-40 West to the Waynesville Exit is clear, and the main highway from there to Sylva and Franklin are clear. Sylva has gas, and food, but it's all cash only as the communication grid is down. Cell service is down until you reach the GA
