- I remember telling my coworkers in one of my college jobs that capitalism is unsustainable because "infinite economic growth on a finite planet is OBVIOUSLY unsustainable" and everyone just looked at me like i had two heads. i was only 20 at the time. Glad it's more obvious nowCapitalism has no pause button. Every forest is timber, every fish is stock, every breath of air a dumping ground. Infinite growth on a finite planet isn’t just unsustainable, it’s ecocidal design. Collapse isn’t the warning, it’s the business plan.
- Replying to @paleochristconyou are fat and a lot of your dumb arguments are meant to be hyperbolic to get more views, not because they make any sense
- Replying to @JoshC0301anyone who bleats nonsense like "this is like North Korea" as the default thought terminating cliché to describe something bad happening in the US, is showing you their racism and media illiteracy, and they're not a competent critic of western media
- Replying to @RnaudBertrandI simply avoided commenting since I didnt know much about it. It's a waste of time to speculate and label things "color revolution" without a good understanding of the situation
- To my knowledge, Epstein was first arrested in 2006 & pleaded guilty in 2008. Chomsky should have cut him off after that, but Chomsky moved to University of Arizona in 2017 and Epstein was caught again in 2019, so it's possible this was written before he was caught a second time
- Replying to @Is_Not_BrianIf trump 2 were like trump 1, Biden would have been considered worse
- Replying to @notXiangyulike others have commented, i definitely don't believe he believed everything he was saying. he was similar to Myron Gaines in posting rage bait but for the sake of argument, how is what you're doing not also a form of virtue signaling?
- Replying to @CarlZhaLol my main thought was “they’re both really impressive. It’s a shame they wasted their potential contributions to STEM fields to become lawyers”
- Replying to @PAstynomeNoam Chomsky prefers to use the term "client state" rather than "vassal state" to describe these countries. Would you prefer that term instead?
- Replying to @JoshC0301this coping doesn't even help the US because this belief that China is "behind" doesn't create the sense of urgency that the US needs to do more to for its own industries, but hey, racist cope is cheaper than building productive infrastructure
