I just want to let all of you know that this Seyi Tinubu has sent his wife and kids on a private jet to the UK to chill during this election period. His wife is on IG carrying Birkins and YSL, brunching and dinnering while you are jam-packed in a room shouting progress.

It is interesting because when you consider the issues that held girls back from school, it was not a lack of interest, but deep-seated misogyny. Girls always wanted to go to school. In contrast, boys did not face the same barriers, yet they are dropping out & avoiding school

Over the last three years, I go back to my secondary school couple times and pay the school fees for the best student in each class JSS1-SS3. Over the years, there have been fewer and fewer boys. The last two times I've gone, it's been all girls. Which is great, of course. BUT...

Boys are falling behind in school because boys and men are falling behind in general, you can see it in school but you can also see it in adolescence and when those boys become men. Not good students, partners, parents or members of society. That’s the crisis.

And Nigeria is not even in top 20 obese countries. This begs the question, if portion sizes have implications on weight unlike other factors.
