I am using eminent domain to take all 31 acres of land on the site of the proposed 252 unit low-income housing project. Instead, we will be constructing a new public safety complex. There will be a special council meeting tomorrow at 5:30pm to give me the authorization to do so.
I would like to thank the Johnston Town Council for granting me the authority to go forward with eminent domain on the 252 unit, 100% low-income housing site. Rest assured, we will provide our first responders and residents with the 21st century facilities they deserve.

Beyond excited for all of the residents of Johnston. Good public education is the foundation of every community. These new facilities will give students and teachers the facilities they deserve.
Frank Lombardo was more than just our senator, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend. A successful small business owner and man of faith, Frank led a lasting impact on Johnston and more importantly, his family and friends.
Our push to improve Johnston Memorial Park continues. Today we opened our new inclusive playground. This gives children of all abilities a safe and fun place to play. A huge thank you to Grieco Automotive Group for their $100k donation to help make this happen.
