It’s really wild because so many of these black artists in that audience are Trump supporters (I.e: Snoop Dogg). The discomfort in their demeanor speaks volume.
“Trump is using military forces to stop a protest — I want y'all to consider what kind of government it appears to be when every time we exercise our democratic right to protest, the military is deployed against us.” Doechii at the #BETAwards2025

Black women are six times more likely to be victim of intimate partner violence and these stories coming out around the same time isn’t a coincidence. I believe her, like I believe Halle Bailey and Megan Thee Stallion.
Skai Jackson has filed a restraining order against her baby’s father, Deondre Burgin. Court documents state Burgin would physically abuse Jackson on a weekly basis, even while holding their child.

Living as a black person is to also be racially profiled in your own house. I hope she sues them all for everything. Sick f*cks.

Assuming she consented to having this photo taken, I hope she received help and was also paid for it. Also, we seriously need to unpack the way we’ve been socialized to glamorize the struggles of Africans and people living in other developing countries. It’s dehumanizing.

As entertaining as this rap battle is, I also want to point out how highly disturbing it is that men casually expose one another over things like pedophilia, domestic violence and even rape when it involves women and children, but ONLY when we’re fighting. This is a problem.

Perfect examples of why parasocial relationships are bad. We don’t know these people yet assign virtues to them based of their fame, talents and social currency. Again we don’t know these people.

A lot of men just might as well be honest and say they want slaves. Not wives/partners. You don’t see women as human beings. Hence the constant debates about submission.

So are black women. So are black LGBT people. This continuous erasure is further adding to their trauma. Their lives matter too. Mention them too. Speak up for them too. Let’s fight for them as passionately as we all fight for heterosexual black men.

In every situation that involves male violence against women, the onus remains on women needing to arm themselves, dress ‘moderately’, or give out their phone numbers against their will to avoid getting killed. It’s never on men needing to simply stop harming and killing women.

Domestic abuse is gendered and statistically affects women more is a much better & truer statement than “domestic abuse has no gender”, which not only vapid, diversionary, reeks of all lives matter energy, but also protects male abusers from accountability.

There was a tweet from a woman on here last year that said that for the sake of her mental health, she instantly blocks men that disagree with her because most instinctively do it because we’re just conditioned to disagree with anything women say. And she was correct.

White supremacy at its peak is a white woman moving to Uganda, posing as a fake doctor, running a fake clinic, having hundreds of Ugandan babies die under her ‘care’, then being platformed in a docu-series because “her intentions were good”. Sad
Are good intentions good enough? #SaviorComplexHBO, a 3-part @HBO Original Documentary that examines the story of a young missionary, what it means to help, and the intersection of religion, race, and power, premieres September 26 on @StreamOnMax.

Chadwick Boseman was relentlessly castigated over his drastic weight loss to the point where he had to delete pictures and turn off comments on IG. Let this be a lesson to be please be mindful about your words & judgements. You don’t know what type of battle people are fighting.

Sad part: if he gets convicted, many men & some women will place the blame on Megan for “having my boy Tory locked up”. The harassment towards her will intensify, followed by “free Tory” protests. This is the sick misogynistic culture that we’ve cultivated.
