I was in the neighborhood early this morning. Decent memories here. 7-118-3.

- Nov 15, BYU-TCU Me and my Les Paul guitar “The Star-Spangled Banner” It’s happening. So stoked and incredibly honored to perform this pregame ritual. I will do my best and I hope to it justice. 🇺🇸
- Felt utterly dejected for 59.5 minutes of that game. VICTORY BABYYYY!!!! SO PUMPED!!!
- In Les Miserables, Jean Valjean tries to rob the priest who helped him, is caught, but forgiven by the priest. A great moment in literature for the power of forgiveness. This blows that away. In response to a far worse crime, and even more charitable. Unbelievable response. This morning with our burned down church still smoldering and four saints murdered, members of the Church of Jesus Christ raised $60k for...checks notes...the shooter's wife and children. Most donations are anonymous. Each Christian comment will make you cry more than the last.
- Perfectly said, Coach! Took me a long time to realize our “enemies” force us to become better even more than our supporters do. Your opponent will not lie to you about your weaknesses. Huge respect to the U as a program, and…sure feels awesome to come out victorious. In a world filled with hatred and divisive hot-takes, be like Kalani Sitake. Compete, expect excellence, but above all else… Love one another.
00:00 - Yeeeeaaah! Awesome game Cougars. #BYUFOOTBALL
- Love the fade….To me 😏Fade routes in the red zone work
- 🧵In 2019, the Rams beat the Saints shortly after a horrible no-call on a blatant PI at a critical moment. Everyone agreed it was a mistake by the refs. My response was that despite that fact, the Saints still bear responsibility for the loss.
- Replying to @JonnyH13In conclusion: Actual bad call = bummer, but live with it. 50/50 call that doesn’t go your way = bummer, but live with it. Whining over correct call = You’re better than that.
- Replying to @JonnyH13Again, I’m super honored to get the chance to do this. I love our country and I care a great deal about the values of Liberty and Justice the United States is founded on, and I hope that comes through in my performance. See you Nov 15!
- Replying to @JonnyH13However, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen as much drama and whining about a call that was actually the RIGHT CALL. This was NOT even a 50/50 judgement call that a ref maybe shouldn’t have made in such a critical situation.
- Replying to @JonnyH13I know it might seem fitting for me to do the anthem at the rivalry game, but it’s the homecoming game and sounds like it’s tradition and already planned for the marching band to do it then, and I have no complaints at all about that. Maybe another time.
- Replying to @JonnyH13Thanks especially to @CriddleBenjamin and @jbecktwelve for always pushing for me to get a chance to do it.
- Replying to @JonnyH13Here’s how it went down for any wondering: BYU announced open tryouts this summer; I was among what looked to be over a hundred auditioners (almost all vocal performances). Everyone I heard was incredible.
