    Quick story about Clint Capela (especially for the beat writers.) Went to a Rockets' voluntary shootaround a few years ago. Asked Capela if I could bother him with a couple questions. He said "One, you never are bothering me. Two, don't ever ask again. The answer is always yes."

    Rockets sold out all 10,000 tickets to tonight's watch party at Toyota Center. That's $100,000, all going to the Santa Fe Memorial Fund.

    A thoroughly exasperated Daryl Morey said Chris Paul and his reps have never asked to trade him and he will be on Rockets next season. Said he and Harden do not have issues with one another and that he has spoken to both often this off-season about free agency evaluations, plans.

    Chris Paul was still so angry after the game, multiple individuals said, because a member of Rajon Rondo's family made "inappropriate" comments to Paul's wife, Jada, in the stands after the altercation.

    As much attention is paid to the Rockets' move to small ball, more should go to the guy they got in the deal. Robert Covington is 1st player with at least 21 steals and 12 block shots in first 8 games of a postseason since Ben Wallace in 2004, also making 51 % of his 3s.
