The benefits of a field house/indoor facility for a High School and a community are obvious. Those who have taken that step never seem to regret it!

- On Tuesday I resigned as Head Football Coach at Battle High School to accept a Coaching and Staff position at the Community School of Naples. I am thankful for the relationships I was able to forge at Battle, and appreciative of the opportunity to coach this team.
- We had study hall before school to help athletes who need to put in more time in the classroom. @AlijahJackman kills it in the classroom, but to help his teammates he got up early and brought guys to school who needed the work. Phenomenal person and player. True leader!
- What needs to be done to play CoMo High School football at Faurot?! Let’s revisit this! 15,000-20,000 fans at a high school football game in Columbia was and would be an amazing thing. We can make this happen. @athletics_cps @MizzouFootball

- Beyond proud of these 2! In our program we talk about success athletically, socially, and academically. These 2 embody that. - How you handle defeat speaks volumes. Everyone experiences defeat at one point or another, do you let your built in excuses distract you from being self critical and growing? Do you use defeat as motivation or does it destroy the ego you’ve built?
- If you don’t have the grades you won’t play college football!!! Your size, athleticism, film, 40 time, and production are all for nothing if you can’t take care of your business in the classroom! #STUDENTAthlete
- Hot take: Make recruiting legal so everyone can do it instead of just the privates and well off publics. …..or we continue to pretend like this isn’t happening 🙃
- 2022 will be Coach Stannard’s second year at Battle. He’s a tremendous coach and better person. His impact is felt on the field and throughout our building!
- How you attack the off-season is what defines you. Doesn’t matter if you are preparing for another high school season or the next level. Once season ends the road to improvement begins! Colleges invest in those who invest in themselves, invest now!
- Rivalry is a positive thing. It’s inherent in competition. Brings out the best in all parties involved. I love to see the city be proud of what is going on at their respective institutions! We all should be!
- Coming to school everyday is expected. Graduating in good standing is expected. Reaching your academic potential is expected.
