Despite getting a call from the Chronicle asking if I am running for Supervisor, they didn’t publish it.
I want to be crystal clear so my thoughts are below:
From graying out Mission District homes, to this direct and explicit attack on murals that represent our cultura. San Francisco, understand that you’re not above the racist hate. Black and Brown people have been experiencing it for generations and this is just the days example.
Honored to announce that I am briefly joining Senator Sanders campaign and will be serving as California’s Latino Press Secretary. Over this next week I will be traveling the state to help close out California STRONG. Pumped for the opportunity, VAMOS! #NotMeUs#UnidosConBernie
Hi, Latino from the Mission District, I just want to point out that while we are “reopening”, Latinos are still as high as a 14% positivity rate here at our Mission testing site, vs 4% city wide rate. A painful and disproportionate reality we have been facing from the START.
Latino Task Force for COVID-19 and UCSF tested 4,200 4 days, 25% of what the city has done since the beginning of testing. WE the people, DID THAT through people power & proper partnerships, all 100% volunteer effort. This was historic, and I am honored to have helped lead it.
At a @BernieSanders event at Slate Bar, and my mans @shaunking just reminded us all that the real Election Day for California is Feb 3rd, not March 3rd as that is when ballots drop for 10s of millions of Californians. If you haven’t gotten involved so far, the time is now.
It’s concerning to see publications like the Chronicle (for one) predominantly feature writers and articles that intentionally go to incite anger for middle to upper class predominantly white people (of course not exclusive).
Hi guys, heavy thread here inspired in part by the article below. Hope you can read 🧵:
It’s interesting to witness what is happening right now in San Francisco (and elsewhere). sfchronicle.com/politics/artic…
I just want to send a big BIG shoutout to the San Francisco Police Officers Association (wannabe ass union, not the rank and file) for burning over 650k against Chesa and taking a major MAJOR L. Know we see you, and your thug ass leadership on this victorious night.
What an honor meeting one of the Coachella wise elders Miguel Vargas at the Coachella office tonight. He spent his life picking lettuce in the field, tonight he hit us with the deepest of game.
