- Today marks a new chapter, as I started a new role working for the Mayor of London. It’s a huge privilege to join the team supporting the Mayor as london bounces back from a pandemic, continues to lead the way on tackling the climate emergency & work to keep Londoners safe. 1/3
- They were invited to come and rebuild Britain. They sacrificed and worked hard, often in the face of abuse and injustice. A generation that helped shape our transport system, NHS and has contributed so much to our society. We owe them so much #Windrush75

- It's wrong that black men are overrepresented in the UK's prison system & underrepresented in the UK's political system - so it was such a pleasure to chair a panel in Camberwell tonight with @DavidLammy & @NishaWaller4 on the urgent need to reform our criminal justice system.
- Today, I was pleased to confirm at @lb_southwark Cabinet that all of the electricity in our offices and buildings, from the town hall to day centres and park huts will now be powered by 100% renewable energy.
- Growing up I would often hear Harriet’s name around the house - not fully understanding who she was or what she did but knowing she made a huge difference. And my God has she made a difference! 1/2
- In less than 2 weeks Camberwell and Peckham Labour Members will be voting to select a new Labour MP. I'm delighted to be on the shortlist and can't wait to speak to members across our constituency.
