So you take a pitch...now you're 3-1. Then the pitcher comes back with a great setup pitch...3-2. Now you're ready to groundout into a double play. Everyone should hit 3-0. Grand Slams are a huge stat. @tatis_jr
Fernando Tatis Jr. smacked a grand slam on a 3-0 count with a big lead, leading to criticism from both managers. What do you think about this unwritten rule in baseball? 🎥 @MLB #PadresTwitter

It is with great regret that I will not be able to attend this year’s Baseball Hall of Fame induction after testing positive for COVID. Fortunately, I have been vaccinated, otherwise doctor said I would be hospitalized.

We may have taken the World Series in 1975 but Luis Tiant shut us out in Game 1 and threw another complete game victory in Game 4. He meant so much to the Red Sox organization, baseball certainly lost another icon. My condolences to his family and the Boston fans.

You only need to be with Ueck for a minute to feel the charisma and deep seated pleasure he has for life and baseball. We worked together on commercials and talked on a monthly basis for the last two decades. Few people can make you laugh out loud. He loved Milwaukee @Brewers

I was called down to see some prospects the @Reds might draft. There was this kid from Canada taking batting practice who was born to hit. I said if it were me, I'm taking him first Congrats on a tremendous career @JoeyVotto! Passionate about the game, totally committed hitting

A phenomenal hitter! Vladimir Guerrero Jr. with 46 home runs. Passes me for HRs age 22 & younger, ties DiMaggio, 1 away from Mathews. This is special. 🇩🇴💪🏼⚾️🇨🇦 #bluejays #mlb

Willie made me feel like a true professional. He came to my locker at the 1968 All Star Game to say “hey, you should have been the starting Catcher.” I didn’t need to get in the game. He made my dream! One of my favorite people of all time!
