What is the punishment for missing something like this for the officials? To make up that it’s gone under the net and disallow it is beyond comprehension. I don’t think they should be anywhere near another professional game this season at least.

Anyone criticising Fergie for this is absolutely clueless. Tyler Young has not done anything (yet) to merit being on the pitch when we were firmly in the game. At 2-0 he’d used all his subs. It’s not his job to create a Dad vs lads football match.

Darren Ferguson on the Young situation: "It was very difficult to leave Tyler on the bench, I wanted him on, but I've got to get a forward on to get a goal. One of their players had a pop at me which was out of order. I had to do what was best for my team."

The issue is with the manager who has failed to designed a system to get the best out of any of our best players. Harry Kane, Phil Foden, Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham all looked terrible today. We are ignoring the real issue here.
