- Beyond humbled and privileged to have spent 6 months working in the @MarylandCTSurg Xenotransplantation Lab with @CorbinGoerlich. First in man pig-to-human heart transplant last week! Potential to change the field of transplantation.
- Wrapped up an incredible month with @CCF_CTSRes with an awesome chief, Shawn Shah. 9 Davids, 9 Bentalls, 2 open thoracos, 4 circ arrest cases, and many more! 🤯 Truly a Mecca of cardiac surgery, with such a supportive group of attendings and residents. 10/10 would recommend.

- The @MayoClinic/@MayoSurgery is truly a special place. Just completed an amazing month with @MayoClinicCVS that included nearly 20 robotic mitral repairs with an incredible mentor @RowseMD and double scrubbing with my wife @beccatreffalls. Doesn’t get much better than that.
- Very honored and humbled to present my first @STS_CTsurgery talk at #STS2023! Huge thanks to my mentors and coauthors at @UTHealthSA_CTS for their support. Medicare reimbursement in 🫀 surgery has ⬇️ 34% since 2000, with CABGs and AVRs decreasing the most.
