The Justice Department has released new guidelines that find the EEOC’s use of “disparate impact” is unconstitutional.
Good.
Disparate impact is a woke legal doctrine that’s rewritten American standards:
2 Americans just landed safely after spending 2 months in space.
11 years ago, an Obama committee concluded that would take 12 years and cost $26 billion. Elon Musk did it in 6 years-- for less than $1 billion.
Private competition is always better. #SplashDown#LaunchAmerica
About 20 years ago, some honeybees died from “colony collapse disorder.”
The media went into a buzz.
But beekeepers rebuilt lost colonies and the disorder soon diminished.
Now, there are 31% MORE bees in America.
Since the media won’t report on that, I will:
My home city, New York, is likely to elect a socialist Mayor Tuesday.
I don’t usually report on local politics, but I make an exception for Zohran Mamdani… because people believe his socialist dreams.
Yet what he is promising to do is so STUPID.
Here's why:
A study from the Berkeley Research Group points out the high cost of California’s $20 fast food minimum wage.
It caused prices to rise 14.5%… and cost 10,700 jobs.
I warned about this last year:
Florida’s students once ranked near the bottom in math and reading.
Then the state passed universal school choice.
Now, “Florida ranks #1 in education,” says @DeAngelisCorey.
Schools get better when they have to compete:
A new law in Scotland threatens you with seven years in JAIL if you misgender someone.
GLAD @jk_rowling calls this a threat to free speech.
Here is how she protested:
A socialist will likely be my next mayor!
I don’t often report on local politics, but I make exception for Zohran Mamdani because people BELIEVE in him. He got a record number of votes in the primary!
Yet what he believes is just so STUPID.
Here’s why:
Biden promised 500,000 EV charging stations.
2 years later, only 7 have been built…
When politicians spend your money, they don’t have an incentive to spend it carefully.
So they fail, over and over:
Remember the start of the pandemic?
Cops chased people who paddled in the ocean, sat alone in cars, or played catch outdoors.
Swimmers were ordered to wear masks in pools.
It’s important we don’t forget how AUTHORITARIAN politicians are eager to be:
The Post Office said: you can’t get it there overnight.
But when FedEx did, suddenly others could, and even USPS had to improve its service.
That’s the power of competition.
So why not apply it to education?
