00:00 - I wanted to take some time to reflect on an unforgettable season and highlight some of the individual work that helped fuel a GPAC Championship! Here's what went into making the 2025 season unforgettable for @CliffBaseball Thread:
- Bullpen work today for @CliffBaseball Jr Pitcher @KylerSteinborn, showing off the splitter here. Worked to drop total spin by about 300 RPMs and get less vertical break to get more disparity from the FB. Excited to see it play against some hitters on Thursday! @FlatgroundApp
00:00 - With our Fall season concluding last night, I wanted to give a special shout out to the @CliffBaseball pitching staff. They averaged +2.26 mph on their fastballs, had 5 guys join the 90 mph club, and compared to last fall, we struck out 27 more batters in 226 less batters faced!
- To say I’m proud is an understatement. Kyler fractured his L5 vertebrae last February. After months of hard work in rehab, he finally got back on the mound. He has career bests in strikeouts, innings pitched, wins, and ERA. Oh… and his fastball PR’d at 94.4. Congrats K1!𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 Kyler Steinborn played just three games last season due to an injury, but has returned as one of the Cliff’s top pitchers on the mound this season! #BattleOn | @CliffBaseball
- One of the best I ever played with. Unbelievable player, even better person. Always had a smile on his face and always pushed you to be better.
