    I’ll just come out & say it: Our minimum wage—$7.25/hr or $15K/yr—just isn’t enough to survive. It leaves moms deciding whether to feed the kids, take them to the doctor, or keep the heat on. It’s an impossible choice. RT to stand with me & support raising our minimum wage.

    I will be in Louisiana tonight (Love it!) to get Republicans to vote for either of our two great Republican Candidates and force a run off with John Bel Edwards, who has done a really poor job of tax cutting, car insurance cost (worst in USA), & is suspect on your 2nd Amendment!

    Bobby Jindal left Louisiana with a $2 billion hole. In just 3 years, we put Louisiana first and turned that into a budget surplus. My opponents just want to bring us back to where we were. I want to move forward and build on what we’ve done.

    I’ve witnessed firsthand how much we ask of our teachers. My wife, Donna, is an educator who’s poured her heart into shaping our students’ lives. But frankly, our teachers are well overdue for a raise. RT to stand with me & support giving teachers the pay raise they deserve.
