Thank you from my family to the entire @Capitals family, to everyone at @NBCSWashington, and to all the fans and friends who have wished us well recently. This is one of my favorite photos of my parents. It's a bit lonely without them both. They'll inspire me the rest of my life.

- To all @Capitals fans, thank you so much for your kind words and your attention to our @NBCSWashington telecasts. Sincere gratitude goes out to all in front of and behind the cameras, and in the control rooms for a job well done! Let's hope we watch this team roll thru June.
- Well, isn't this special!! Way to go, Lockaire!!7 weeks post op and I’m officially off LTIR! Feeling great and getting in game shape. I’m gearing up to be back in the booth with @JoeBpXp and my @monsportsnet team! Stay tuned…. @capitals @MSE #ALLCAPS #lockerstrong
00:00 - The arena looks great tonight #ALLCAPS fans! Unfortunately, I have been dealing with an illness since Tuesday, and doctors advise that I do not push my voice this evening. I will be on ice for the 895 ceremony and then hand off to @JohnWaltonPxP, @Laughlin18 & Al Koken.
- This is a wonderful reminder of how fans take the great moments and make them last forever. I remember this conversation well and am glad to see the ink "in the flesh." Awesome!promise fulfilled
- There is no truth to the rumor that I have been at Augusta National this week. Doctors have advised me to miss tonight's #ALLCAPS game and return to work on @MonSportsNet Tuesday on Long Island. I hate missing games, hate it, and what's the best route from Georgia to N.Y. ?
- The fight is finished, the baby shark needs a ride home!! Congrats to the #Nats!! That was an awesome display of never giving up. Reminds me of a really good hockey team's run in 2018. District of Champions!
- In advance of the impending laughter all of you have, (at my expense, I might add) I will have you know that I froze my dorsal fin off doing this shoot!! The soon-to-be released video will be amazing! #STAYINTHEFIGHT
- It was a fantastic show of support from Dan and Rob and all the Sabres TV crew led by Joe Pinter. Thank you very much, boys, that was pure class!@JoeBpXp although a lifelong Sabres fan, glad to see the Locker healthy and back where he belongs. Our play by play and color team clearly agree. Go Sabres!
- In 1989 I walked into the office of Ed Anderson, then President of the Maine Mariners. He was about to offer me my first broadcasting job. Just before doing so he pointed to a picture of Doc & said, "do yourself a favor, be like him." Wonderful advice to honor the consummate pro.Mike 'Doc' Emrick retiring from legendary NHL broadcasting career trib.al/FtEj7fa
- Well said!TJ Oshie to LTIR was expected. That doesn’t mean it isn’t still sad, though. One of the most likable athletes in DC sports history. Few guys play harder; heart-&-soul of team that ended DC’s 27-year title drought. Plays like he’s 235 lbs at 185. Warrior. And first-class human.
