The comments on this is absolutely disgusting and something that women in sport have to deal with on a daily basis. We work hard to get our qualifications, and our pitchside qualifications to be treated like this. Misogyny at its finest. @WomeninFootball @HerGameToo

In all my years on twitter / X, I’ve never had a post go viral. Until last night. That block button is amazing! The abuse I’ve had for supporting women in football and bringing to light some challenges we face is ridiculous. And actually proves my stance.

I have lost count over the last 6 months how many work experience/job applications I have been sent addressed to “Mr. Shaw”. I understand the need to be professional, but assumptions should not be made that I am male despite my job title! Mr. Shaw is my dad..... not me!

I understand working for the Olympics is an honour, but voluntary? Seriously? 4+ years experience, advanced trauma quals etc for “expenses”. Insulting, IMO.
