This is the biggest change to reproductive rights law in 58 years and yet it was voted on without a committee stage, with no evidence session, just 46 mins of backbench debate that was then ended by a government minister who refused to take a single intervention. We can do

South Western Railway was nationalised by Labour in May. Since then: 🫷Cancelations are UP 50% 🫷Delays are UP 29% 🫷Trains 30-60 mins late more than DOUBLED I understand why the unions want nationalisation, but how is it helping passengers or the taxpayer?

Cutting to the chase, I’m backing @PennyMordaunt . • Strong economic management • Deep support for what makes communities thrive • She’s an inspiring leader, but wants to focus less on the leader and more on the ship. Says it all. #PM4PM

Since I asked this question it has emerged some favoured defence companies were given access to the Strategic Defence Review ahead of time. This is leaking critically sensitive information which must give an unfair commercial advantage.

20 MPs have today written to Keir Starmer and Andy Burnham. Let's work together to avoid another damaging lockdown, tackling the virus on a regional basis, responding to the infection rates if we are save lives, look after the NHS, keep children in school, & shelter the economy.

The only leader taking the economy seriously:
It’s time to blow up the tax doom loop with our new Golden Economic Rule. Here’s how👇

The country needs stability and competence. As we tackle global inflation and adapt to higher interest rates I’m backing @RishiSunak

I don’t blame you if you’ve struggled to follow the China spying case engulfing parliament. Even MPs are finding it hard to keep up with a story that seems to change by the hour. I suspect many fair-minded people have assumed this story can’t contain much. It seems too

Absolutely. Like you, I have very strong views on this and am happy to meet, walk, and discuss them then. I’ll wait to receive your letter and then be in touch. Thank you.

Stop the waffle-bomb, steal our plan and get Britain working!
What we saw from the Chancellor today was a waffle-bomb. Rachel Reeves must stop blaming others & admit she’s made a mess. Fairness means living within our means so our children don’t pay for her mistakes. She should grow a backbone, steal our plan & get Britain working again.

When Labour said they wanted economic growth I assumed they meant in the UK.
GDP fell 0.1% in October 2024. Services showed no growth, while Production (-0.6%) and construction (-0.4%) both fell. Read the full release ➡️ ons.gov.uk/economy/grossd…

Read this letter if you want to understand Labour’s twists and turns on the China spying case
Keir Starmer’s misleading statements on the China spy scandal are a breach of trust with MPs and the public. He must correct the record in the Commons ASAP. My letter to the Prime Minister👇

🧵 Rachel Reeves is trying to con the British public into accepting Labour’s tax rises – which they always planned, but did not have the courage to tell the British public about during the election. They lied to voters and now they are pretending they have no choice.

The press went to town on #PennyMordaunt over the weekend to shore up the traditional candidates. This is the real #PM4PM.
