    South Western Railway was nationalised by Labour in May. Since then: 🫷Cancelations are UP 50% 🫷Delays are UP 29% 🫷Trains 30-60 mins late more than DOUBLED I understand why the unions want nationalisation, but how is it helping passengers or the taxpayer?

    Since I asked this question it has emerged some favoured defence companies were given access to the Strategic Defence Review ahead of time. This is leaking critically sensitive information which must give an unfair commercial advantage.

    What we saw from the Chancellor today was a waffle-bomb. Rachel Reeves must stop blaming others & admit she’s made a mess. Fairness means living within our means so our children don’t pay for her mistakes. She should grow a backbone, steal our plan & get Britain working again.
