The imposter social media accounts have gotten out of control. On X, Insta, Facebook, and TikTok, I’m JenCarfagno. On BlueSky, I’m JenCarfagnoWeather. No other accounts are me! Please check the handle!

Sorry for the wild camera swings, but I wanted to safely capture this double plow coming down Donner Pass Road in historic downtown Truckee. #cawx #blizzard #winterstorm

Hurricane Melissa. Strongest storm on Earth this year. Tied for strongest landfall intensity (185 mph cat5) with Dorian and Labor Day Hurricane of 1935 in Atlantic Basin.

With everyone heading back to school, I thought I'd share a throwback of my old school picture from 1989. Share yours with #BackToCool! #TBThursday #Tbt

This is by far my favorite video of #winterstormgail. ❄️ The kids are having a blast sledding and then watch as they find out the status of school for the next day. Video from Rachel Donoghue in Radnor PA.

Today was my 25th anniversary at The Weather Channel! I worked off-camera as a forecaster, data/graphics meteorologist, and on the Science & Strategy team before I was full-time on-air! Here’s a throwback from the ol Weekend in View team!

Lifeguards rescue tens of thousands of people every year from rip currents. They are especially likely with an approaching tropical system but can even happen on a benign weather day. I went to the beach to learn the best way to escape if you get stuck in one.

These four young ladies behind me drove around the neighborhood hit by the tornado pulling a cooler of water, Gatorade, and coffee. Offering it to responders and those cleaning up and me. It was exactly what was needed. Thank you for the hydration and the smile.
