The display of swastikas and yellow Stars of David outside my office today is repugnant and offensive. People are perfectly free to express their opinion on vaccines or any issue, but to openly display Nazi symbols outside the office of a Jewish legislator is despicable.
PSA: It has come to my attention that there may be an anti-vax event outside of my district office tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon. Please avoid the area if you are concerned about the potential for airborne transmission of COVID-19 or other preventable diseases.

Rob Astorino stood right next to these anti-Semitic symbols and said NOTHING. All Republican leaders should condemn this unacceptable use of anti-Semitic imagery. I am sorry to any constituents who passed by this repugnant display outside of my office today.

I've been the target of antisemitic attacks from both the far right and the far left. This tweet from an extremist, anonymous account selectively singles out two Jewish politicians and is disgusting. It's a classic display of antisemitism and should be condemned.

Hate is not partisan. It is absolutely repugnant that anyone would draw a swastika anywhere, let alone over the name of a Jewish person. Kudos to @MaxRose4NY for keeping his head high and standing up for what's right in this nation: tolerance, freedom, and safety.
The swastika drawn on my campaign sign is a sad reminder that hate is rampant. But I know together, this country can fulfill its purpose, just like it did for my ancestors who came here to flee antisemitism and hate. There are better days ahead.

This tragedy highlights a very real fear that many people have when they commute. We need full ADA compliance in our mass transit system, starting with the #MosholuParkwayElevator. nytimes.com/2019/01/29/nyr…

I’ve been the target of antisemitic attacks this year from the far right and now from the far left. You know what the difference is? Nothing.

Today I stood with neighbors at the Riverdale Monument in a moment of solidarity and grief with the people of Israel. In recent weeks, terrorists have murdered thirteen people and injured many more in several cities throughout Israel. These are the worst attacks in >15 years.

Once again, both MetroCard machines at W 231 St on the 1 train say "No Bills". Station booths are also still not accepting cash. @MTA: Cash is legal tender in this country. Your current anti-cash policy is harming older and low-income NYers. It needs to be changed ASAP.

It has been humbling and empowering to see so many kind, outraged, & supportive words over the past 48 hours. I've never been more proud to be a NYer. Thank you. I will not be cowed by anti-Semitic hatred. We can disagree on policy, but there must be a respect for our history.

I'll share a glimpse of what I deal with on a daily basis from extremists. It's worse than many messages, but it's not uncommon. To whoever left this voicemail for me: It'll take a whole lot more than this to intimidate a lifelong Bronxite into backing down.

I am incredibly proud that science has won with the passage of this bill. This will not be the end of our efforts to combat the ongoing measles outbreak, but it is an important step. Thank you especially to @CarlHeastie, @bradhoylman, and the advocates who helped get this done.

Congratulations to our next Democratic state senator, Alessandra Biaggi. I look forward to us working together in Albany and in our community @Biaggi4NY
