The SP 2026 pitching progression for a talented 9-year-old on my team, we'll call him Alex, that all of you coaches can follow for maximum arm health of your boys. 🔷March 14 - 1st team practice. Introduced & demonstrated our 6-step throwing program, which ultimately starts with

Every young hitter in America needs to hear this. In case you need a frame of reference, kids, the dude in the middle is Frank Thomas. He's 6'5" 240, and for his career: ▪️.301 batting avg ▪️521 career HR ▪️1667 BB's ▪️1397 K's ▪️.974 OPS Look at those #'s again. This is a guy

The first person to drive in a run at the College World Series is 5'9" 185. Coastal's SP is a 5'10" RHP. I know you'd all like to be 6'3". But kids, just because you're 5'9" doesn't mean you can't play at the highest level. You've got to be strong. You've got to be a

Infielders, when I'm scouting, I'm evaluating you between innings. If your throws between innings as your first baseman rolls you GB's are in the dirt, up the line, high, your stock plummets. You are literally being scouted every time you touch the ball. #ItAllMatters

Am I the only one who thinks this is Little League stuff? Like, he's not working borderline pitches back into the edges of the zone fluidly. He's catching, then pulling balls middle-middle, like a bad HS catcher. Is this really "good framing" in 2020???
Victor Caratini’s pitch framing is a work of art

Holy shit, Twitter 😶 I am stunned. I signed this kid to Louisburg out of HS. Never got to coach him as I left the year he came in. Totally lost track of him because frankly he had a very mediocre college career. Haven't even thought about him in years. Then today, by pure
Spencer Bivens went to Louisburg Junior Coll (NC). Transferred to Penn St, but kicked off the team for failing a drug test. Went to Div. II Rogers St (OK). Undrafted. 4 seasons in Europe and Indy Ball leagues. Today, he got the win in his 1st MLB start.

Uncommitted kids - small tip that will go a long way: Stop retweeting your buddies tweets. This is the one time in your life where taking advice to be selfish is smart. When a college coach looks at your profile, if he scrolls and scrolls and all he sees is video of your

Just had a 2025 email me. I Google him. Only video --a showcase from Fall of his FR year. He was 66-67 on the mound. Ran an 8.6 60. 📣Parents, STOP wasting your money!!!📣 DO NOT SHOWCASE your skills until they are recruitable! 66-67 / 8.6 60 is NOT recruitable! 🤦🤦🤦 #💲⬇️🚽

    Great hitters... ▪️square the ball up often ▪️swing & miss sparingly ▪️hate a "ꓘ" ▪️can hit the ball to all fields ▪️commit to a 2-strike "team-first" approach ▪️drive in the runner on 3B w/ <2 outs ▪️hit it hard to the right side w/ runner on 2B, 0 outs ▪️BB+HBP > K's

I really wish that every committed baseball player across the country would band together and commit to playing Legion ball after they commit. Personally I think it would be so much better for everyone involved. The level of Legion ball would climb so committed guys would still

I don't care how many people want to argue with me, the definition of fun does NOT have to include yelling at your opponent. Have all the fun you want with your teammates. The line of disrespect is crossed when your emotion is projected toward the other dugout. Simple as that.
Nothing better than talking some shit after punching somebody’s ticket. This is how it’s supposed to be. Hitters can flip their bats. Pitchers can do this. It’s called fun.

I have a 10 year old daughter and a 7 year old son. Just went to buy cleats, one helmet, bats, one glove, one pair of BG's, an equipment bag, socks. When I got to the checkout 😵‍💫🤢🤮 I'm 39. When I was a kid, we had team helmets and team bats. Team provided stirrups w/ uni. Lot
