- We just passed a comprehensive school safety bill, HB 322. *Requires all outer doors to be locked. *Conduct armed intruder drills. *Requires a threat assessment team. *Safety plans *Increased training for security. *Measures for new schools. More to come!
- The General Assembly worked with institutions across our state to craft strong NIL legislation that established the framework in TN. The @NCAA’s NIL moving target made our work as lawmakers, very challenging.
