- It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Coach Jackson Bauer. Coach Bauer was a passionate and committed coach & teacher at AHS for 9 years. We offer our condolences to Coach Bauer’s family & friends. He was a valuable member of the AHS family, & will be missed.
- Congrats @CoachShawnBell you have come a long way from helping stuff laundry at Stony Point. Proud of you.
- We welcomed my future fishing partner into the world last night. Kase Lee, #1 grandson, we are going to have lots of adventures when you get a little older.
- Blessed to have my feet hit the ground this morning. Walking through these doors & into year 30 of this coaching this great game!
- As my good friend Jim Garfield always says, “Family ain’t always blood.”
- Started year 25 of coaching today with 1st practice of 2020. Some things haven’t changed, still look forward to going to work every day, still start the first day of practice with the old school Walter Payton Roos. Some things are completely different...coaching with a mask.
- Started year 26 of coaching today. I have worn these @walterpayton Roos the first day of camp for the last 23 years of coaching high school football.
- Happy Birthday to Legendary Texan Charles Goodnight. One of the greatest cattleman in history, Father of the Panhandle, and savior of the plains bison.
