    Queues at my local library. Loads of people returning and borrowing books. One family leaving with a bag full, another browsing & the knit & natter group in full swing. Don’t let anyone tell you libraries are obsolete. They are vital for communities. They are communities.

    Anyone who says that other animals don’t talk to us has obviously never had a cat tell them off for being 5 minutes late to bed, or feeding time, or dared to go out of the house. Or been near a cat.

    I don’t know why people complain about perimenopause. It’s a fun way to play new games such as - Why am I swearing at inanimate objects? Is it my period again or am I haemorrhaging? and my personal favourite - Will my ankles painfully giveaway unexpectedly sometime today?

    Am I 46 years old? Yes Did my parents just drive 30 minutes out of their way to deliver a foot hot water bottle my mum bought me? Also yes.
    Looks like a normal hot water bottle with a pink fluffy cover but the cover has a gap to slip your feet into.

    At the vets and they have a sign next to a candle saying if it’s lit someone is saying goodbye to a pet and asking people to be quiet and respectful. Thankfully it’s not lit but what a considerate thing to have.

    The 11 year old is doing secret Santa at school. They picked names on Friday and are exchanging gifts tomorrow. He just told me about 10 minutes ago about the whole thing…

    Last year I found a dress that suited me (and had pockets) so I bought it in another colour. And then bought it in two more colours in the sale. I’m nothing if not adventurous in my clothing choices.
    Maxi length dress with shirred waist, one in white with black stars and the other blue with black leopard print.

    Authors receive a payment every time you borrow a book, audiobook or ebook from libraries in 35 countries including the UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Germany to name a few. Borrowing a book helps the author’s pocket as well as yours.
