- I'm sure this will shock no one, but the usual Proud Boys /QAnon telegram channels are reacting like their team just won the Super Bowl right now. Already seeing comments about this setting a "precedent for rioters" and how they will be dealt with in the future.
- NEW: For years, more than a dozen Torrance cops exchanged racist, homophobic and anti-Semitic texts and images. Today, I can identify most of the officers and reveal some of their hateful conversations. My latest:
- Quick Thread -- Megan Thee Stallion was only on the stand for about 45 minutes this morning, but she walked through the entire shooting in that time. She entered court around 11:15 a.m. to shouts of support in the hallway. Tory Lanez did not look at her when she entered.
- THREAD: I found the rest of the racist texts allegedly exchanged by more than a dozen Torrance police officers from 2018 to 2020: They joked about killing Black children and suspects. They used slurs to refer the family of a Black man they shot to death.
- BREAKING: Harvey Weinstein has been found guilty of rape and sexual assault of all counts related to Jane Doe 1. The jury acquitted him of sexual battery against Jane Doe 3. Hung on all counts related to Jane Doe 2 and Jen Newsom.
- Most of the Kelsey Harris tape has been played. Cliff Notes Thread: — She says Tory Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion — Says Tory “physically assaulted” her after by pulling and dragging on her hair. — Says there was a convo with Lanez about money, but never explicit bribe offer.
- Replying to @tvisaypod and @theashleyrayHey Ashley -- I cover cops for the L.A. Times, and the department's been flat denying claims like this for two days. Any chance you or your friends can screenshot one of these tickets? I'd just like to see what they look like and try to figure out what's going on here. - JQ
- I've typed and deleted five different tweets about the body-worn video of an LAPD officer killing a 14-year-old girl now. What the hell do you even say? This is an absolute nightmare.
