- Ken Dryden played only 8 NHL seasons. In that window he won: 🏆6 Stanley Cups 🏆5 Vezina Trophies 🏆Calder Trophy 🏆Conn Smythe Trophy Not sure there’s a better 8-year run. Hockey has lost a giant.
- So great seeing the Canadian flag being waved for pride and positivity once again and not some political prop.
- Lovely tribute by Canucks fans for an emotional Bruce Boudreau. He coached Vancouver less than 15 months, never took the team to the playoffs and yet won the market over in a way most legends or hall of famers never could. Here’s to one of the legit good guys in hockey.
- If anyone has an old Nick Tarnasky jersey lying around, this would be a great week to dust it off and wear it again.
- Vasilevskiy: 2 goals against and a .980 save % in three close out games vs TOR, FLA & NYR this spring. Forget Mariano Rivera, the Lightning goalie is now the best closer in sports.
- Canucks win, Raptors win, Felix wins, Vasek wins, Jays win, Nash named coach in Brooklyn...that's one helluva day in sports for this side of the border. 🇨🇦
