Loosing a Battle, doesn't mean you've lost the War.
Allah States in the Holy Quran:
وَتِلْكَ الْأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ
And so are the days, that We give to men by turns.
It wasn't our turn today.
But the Show Must Go On.
