- Congratulations to Jackson graduate Jay Rohr, a member of the JHS Wall of Fame, as he was named the head football coach of the Polar Bears at tonight's Board of Education meeting. Go get 'em and Go Bears!
- Congratulations to Jackson grad Taylor Mikesell @TMikesell23, the first Polar Bear ever selected in a professional basketball league's draft. She was taken (13th overall) by the Indiana Fever in tonight's WNBA Draft, which is the closest team to us!

- We are very proud of our Polar Bears, especially our seniors. This group lost in the state semifinals tonight, but they have laid the foundation and set the bar for those who come after to achieve and surpass now!
- Many thanks to former Jackson boys coach and 2010 state champ Mike Fuline, who came and spoke to our girls team preparing for their first state Final Four. Coach Fuline, now at Mount Union, talked of the similarities between now and 2010. Recognize your opportunity ladies!
- Jay Rohr addresses the team for the first time as head football coach. He is on our Wall of Fame and has his jersey retired. Can’t wait for the 23 season. Let’s Go Bears!!
