Replies saying this is because of a history of rural scarcity in Sweden but like... Asian people are looking at this excuse and laughing because each one of us would go hungry to make sure our guests are stuffed, and don't tell me Asia has never faced famine or forced starvation
Not here to judge but I don’t understand this. How’re you going to eat without inviting your friend?

Friends and mutuals... let's not romanticise hardship la pls. Some people work incredibly hard and they deserve respect but they also deserve a break, and that's not weakness.

My mother told me that all of the white bread in the supermarket today was gone, but there were still a lot of other types, proving that even in the most intense panic buy moments, people still don't like wholemeal.

May 13 is part of our living history. My mom and grandma almost died, trapped in a cinema for days. Men in my dad's neighborhood were sharpening sticks after hearing Salak South was "flattened". They were children. 49 years later on GE14, they asked us not to go out at night.

    1. MOSTI Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has urged the public to remain calm as Malaysia waits to receive more supplies of Covid-19 vaccines. “‘Tranquilo’ (calm down), relax. The shipments are coming. It’s not like I’m sitting on the vaccines,” he says.

Honestly, I feel like I'm losing any faith I had in electoral politics and the myth of being represented by anyone right now. All around us, Malaysians are being let down. This is not a race conflict. It's a conflict between the exploiters and the exploited.

I love that the guy going "Netflix should have a censored version for movies so we can watch them with kids without seeing any sex scenes" is using Squid Game as an example. Because apart from the sex scene, the violent thriller about ruining your childhood is wonderful for kids
