    UPDATE: According to Japanese Ministry of Transportation #JA516 was evacuated about 7 minutes after the collision took place. However, it took another 11 minutes for the captain to look for petrified passengers still in the cabin. He ordered several of them to hurry to the exists

    2023-09-23: Video footage emerged of the crashed Ilyushin IL-76 (TZ-98T) at Gao Airport, Mali. The aircraft is seen landing on runway 06 at overrunning the end of it at high speed until it broke into parts and caught fire.

    Two private WW2 historical warbirds, B-17 (N7227C) and a P-51/P-63 (N5428V) style fighter collided in mid-air while performing a fly-by on runway 31 at Dallas-Executive Airport, TX. Both lost control and crashed. All occupants in both aircraft are presumed dead.

    Air France Airbus A350-800 (F-HTYH, built 2021) received substantial damage to its aft fuselage during a tailstrike landing on runway 24L. Flight #AF356 from Paris-CDG initiated a go-around and returned for a safe landing on the same runway about 15 minutes later. No one was

    2023-10-27: Edelweiss Airbus A320 (HB-IHY, built 1998) was well into its take-off run on runway 32 at Zurich-Intl AP (LSZH), Switzerland when it swung violently to the left followed by immediate corrective action. The take-off was rejected at about 140 Kts. A tire blew out before

    United Airlines Boeing 777-200 (N772UA, built 1994) experienced serious failure of engine #2 after take-off at Denver Intl Airport (KDEN), CO on flight #UA328 to Honolulu. Large engine parts fell into Broomfield neighborhood. Returned to land at Denver. @KieranCain @BroomfieldPD

    Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-900 (N293AK, built 2018) safely returned to land at Seattle-SeaTac Intl AP (KSEA), WA after the cowling of its left engine #1 came loose and ripped off during landing. No one on flight #AS558 to San Diego was harmed. @asminnow

    United Airlines Boeing 777-200 (N226UA, built 2001) lost the aft inner wheel on the left maingear moments after getting airborne from runway 28L at San Francisco-Intl AP (KSFO), CA. The wheel fell into a parking lot demolishing a parked car. No one on the ground was injured.
