The #TN House passed a bill to make homelessness a FELONY last night. So much hate and blatant hypocrisy. So little compassion, empathy and love. We are better than this, friends.

- GOP supermajority wouldn’t even give me a 2d motion on bill to require the state to distribute firearm locks (already purchased and currently sitting in a state warehouse) to each county’s sheriff for distribution to members of the public. The fix is in. HB7050/SB7063
- As I opined on House floor and as a federal judge has now held, the GOP supermajority’s “drag show ban” violates the 1st Amendment bc it is “unconstitutionally vague and substantially overbroad.” The TN GOP wasted our time and tax dollars yet again. ⚖️💸
