@RTMannJr you’ve always been voice of reason in the increasingly chaotic and nonsensical dialogue that is destroying higher education. When we were fighting for accountability for sexual assault on college campuses across LA, you were one of the few who encouraged our efforts.

This is amazing 🏳️‍🌈✊🏽🏳️‍⚧️ Students at Ben Franklin HS are protesting #DontSayGay legislation with a walkout in support of LGBTQ+ students🔥🔥 I’m so proud of these young adults for taking a stand against bigoted legislation.

A rare look into 1973 NOLA 👀🎞 My office was able to obtain footage from a news broadcasts in 1973 where you can see a group of locals enjoying snowballs🍧 on a hot summer day☀️ Some things in NOLA really never change!

There are currently street lights in the City of New Orleans that have been out for 400 DAYS. This is ASININE. I’m absolutely floored. Department of Public Works needs to be able to explain why our infrastructure goes neglected for 400+ days.

🧵 The assertion that a singular Mylar balloon can shut down our entire water system is completely ridiculous. Sewerage & Water Board (SWBNO) has a variety of mechanisms available that should have kicked in when their power was interrupted.

For 1st time in over a century, LA voters have an opportunity to require unanimous criminal juries like 48 other states! Thanks to #RepMack for making this a #Bipartisan effort! Thanks to my colleagues in #LAHouse & #LASenate for due consideration! #GreatDayForLA #lalege

Today we celebrate #IndigenousPeoplesDay, which honors and commemorates Native American history and culture. Long before French colonization, many different tribes flourished in the land we now call Louisiana. 🧵THREAD🧵

🧵🧵🧵 We are a city under siege, drowning in a culture of lawlessness and despair. This past Sunday, several videos were circulated on social media that showed ridiculous acts of carelessness and total disregard for human life.

19 years since the levees broke in New Orleans. We will always remember the lives lost from Hurricane Katrina and the lives that were never the same again. Be kind to your fellow New Orleanian today⚜️

I don’t typically respond to the outlandish claims made by this Administration, but there has been misinformation spread by the Mayor’s Office that must be addressed. The City Council spent $0 for the investigation into the misuse of $50K+ of taxpayer dollars by Mr. Joseph.

My office contacted NOPD about this set up this morning. We’re compiling all the complaints & new #KreweOfChad developments & “innovations” for the 4/10 meeting to see what needs to be done next year. Park and Parkways is doing their best but it’s Wack-A-Mole
