πŸ‘‡While the 1st part is important many forget the 2nd half is vital. Furthermore one mustn't remain wedded to their political tribe when it becomes clear that the truth isn't your party's narrative.
"Be a free thinker and don't accept everything you hear as truth. Be critical and evaluate what you believe in." -- Aristotle (384 - 322 BC)

In our zeal to save humanity from a single pathogen we’ve forgotten what it means to be human.

Can someone above my pay grade explain the Science behind requiring masks with holes in them to play wind instruments?

Neither FDA commissioners nor Vice Presidents should be tweeting out advice on vaccines.

I confess I can be rather snarky on this platform but seeing MD/MPH/PhDs calling out rideshare drivers, posting pics of stewardesses & calling each other murderers to the point of threatening fisticuffs is really something else.

πŸ‘‡First Harvard, now Yale. I don't understand the rationale behind mandating boosts w/o exception in students. Where's the science behind this? covid19.yale.edu/covid-19-vacci…

It's astounding to see comments like this from doctors w/ ~20-40K followers.

Why is it "logical & obvious" that masks will stop SARS-CoV-2 in its tracks but concerns that masks impair a toddler's speech development & ability to interpret emotions are "contrarian"?

We’ve had zero COVID ICU pts for months. Rare COVID admits are elderly w mult comorbidities/ true immuno⬇️. Rest of few (+)s are incidental on admit PCR. I don’t remember when our last inpatient death was. Yet MedTwitter fearmongering continues.
It's within the realm of possibility that the US will have 100s of thousands more covid deaths this fall/winter. Not clear if funding will even be in place for boosters and treatment. Now would be a great time for health foundations, professional assns, unions, to develop a plan.

There's a saying in Medicine that kids are not little adults. Yet in Oct 2022 many on πŸ˜·πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ MedTwitter don't seem to realize kids [& college students for that matter] aren't frail 80yr olds either
