- We are devastated to share that our fourth baby was not made for this world. Gabriel Joseph Brown was born on Sunday, August 22nd at 11:33pm at about 16 weeks gestation. We buried him today. Thank you for your prayers for our family during this time.
- I got my first R&R! ...but with major revisions that are definitely not guaranteed to work out. Not sure whether to celebrate or cry 😬
- Got my first solo-author acceptance. I am so excited!! 🎉
- Although it’s a day of celebration for empirical micro & the credibility revolution, I feel so much heaviness that Alan (my advisor) isn’t here. 💔 May his memory be for a blessing.
- Today was my due date with the baby we lost at 16 weeks in August My 6yo keeps asking when we can have another baby “because baby Gabriel died” 💔 St. Gabriel Joseph, pray for us ❤️
- Introducing Adeline Elizabeth! Being pregnant during this time had its difficulties, and I’m happy to have moved on to newborn snuggles!! 😍 At 8lbs, 8oz and 20.5”, she’s our smallest baby yet (pandemic stress?!).

- I was devastated to learn of Alan's passing. He has been my advisor and mentor for 4 years. I can't believe I won't be sitting in the chair on the other side of that desk again or hear him say, "Congratulations, Dr. Brown" in two months.
