When you are a baseball instructor. You teach many kids over the years. Helping young men further there career. Help them become young men. But the ultimate is watching him one day pitch in the World Series. I am fortunate to get to do that.

Hair salons, nail Salons, massage parlors, restaurants and other businesses are opening with social distancing. What about youth baseball and HS club baseball. Can’t we put 9 players on a field and social distance. Hit ground balls and practice. Just keep it safe. Just sayin

Coaching has changed. I didn’t coach so you wouldnt leave. I coached to make you better. So you wouldn’t lay down. Pushed to bring out your talent. Some like it some not. If you played for me you know. I see some coaches still old school. Find him. He will make you a player.

March 1 most everyone will have or starting HS baseball by tomorrow. For a lot of these boys they have went 700 to 800 days without playing a HS game. It’s true and sad. Many lifetime memories have been lost. But it’s time. Make your mark. Create memories enjoy this great game.

Yesterday I coached my final game. I coached /trained 100’s of kids that have received scholarships and 96 MLB draft picks. 15 in the MLB. Everyone of them I’m so proud of. It was a 28 year journey. I’m going to be a fan and a Dad. I will miss you all. Thanks for the memories

You could put 8 players on the field and run infield practice and train and nobody would be 30 feet of each other. Get our coaches back to work. There are 1000’s of coaches in the Club industry that are sub contracted that didn’t get PPP money. They are hurting

The ups and downs of the roller coaster ride of a HS Baseball Player. Stay positive through the disappointment days. Don’t get to high on the great days. Just keep working and pushing towards your goals and be a team player. Never too high never too low

I get asked over and over why does your son Specialize in a single sport in Baseball in HS. He is an OU commit. Here is my opinion

Disappointing thing I come across is all the kids that failed because they had great talent young but work ethic was bad. I call them little league hero’s. If u got it don’t fail cause u think your great and u don’t need to work. Every year after 12u work ethic has to grow. Fact

Thinking about mechanics. Worried about what your coach thinks. Playing for scouts. Worried about batting averages. Worried about your Dad. While your in games are all ingredients of failure. Compete and play to win. Everything else falls into place.

It’s amazing driving and seeing kids playing and practicing on ball fields everywhere. The virus took things away from us. We now cherish and appreciate these things greatly. Baseball is not promised. We know that now. Appreciate the game. Don’t take it for granted. Enjoy it

Why are organizations teaching one way to hit. No body invented the right way to hit. Take a young hitter let him hit naturally and help him with his style of hitting. Add to his style of hitting. Not your style of hitting. Open mind
