    JC Schools today announced that Scott Bailey has been hired as the Jefferson City High School head football coach. Coach Bailey has led the Lamar High School football team to seven consecutive state championship wins and was inducted into the MO Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.

    “I’ve accomplished a lot but I’ve never had a high school diploma until today.” George Ousley received a JCHS 1966 diploma courtesy of the @MoGov “Operation Recognition” Program, which awards honorary diplomas to veterans who left high school to serve in the military.
