- Talking about diverting tax dollars to fund charter schools while failing to budget raises for teachers, worsening the teacher shortage, is just plain irresponsible. #NOonHB9!
- This is one of our toughest days at @JCPSKY. We have suffered another devastating loss to senseless gun violence. Our hearts go out to the family of the Eastern HS student whose life was ended. We are providing support for the students.
- We’re going to keep kids in classrooms as long as we possibly can but our schools are preparing to quickly move to NTI if COVID wreaks even more havoc on our dedicated teachers, staff and students. Also, I’m calling on Ky. legislators to approve more than 10 NTI days.
