    Salmonid Kids?????! In my Splatoon?!?
A continuation of my previous post featuring one Salmonid. There are two in this image; one brandishing green ink to the left , and another with blue ink to the right. They are exhibiting the latest fashion, happy to get in on the fresh fits they have seen the Inklings and Octolings wearing- finally able to express themselves!

The green one is sporting a long sleeved turtleneck, covered with a black crop top. Their shoes are lime slip-ons, with 3 white stripes decorating each side of their shoes. This Salmonid is also fond of the Glassless Glasses!!

The blue Salmonid has a rather summery-sporty fit! A twin striped tank, paired with extra durable steel toed boots! Their round glasses are also super cute too, dont you think?

Salmonids can style their fins just like octolings and inklings!!

An illustration of a Salmonid, but "evolved" into a Salmonling.

It brandishes a torn cloth, draping over its shoulders. A Stitched together one piece, goggles, and flip flops. The fins form the hair, as well as the tail acting like a ponytail of sorts.

My idea is that after the main story line of Splatoon 3, some Salmonids are mutated and become more humanoid- like Inklings and Octolings! Salmonlings are to Octolings, as Octarians are to Salmonids.

Bloodborne Inspired Decidueye Variant Grass // Dark
This was created earlier this year, in January of 2022.

I had wondered if there could be another interesting way to adapt Decidueye's hood into another shape, and thought of the tricorn hat. It furthered into a Bloodborne inspired look, mainly based on Eileen the Crow.

I used the shiny variant of Decidueye for the palette!

I imagine that its wings are rather different, and more arm like. The leafy foliage around its head now resembles the cloak the wings once did. The red Feathers should outstretch like sharp tendrils, acting like a blade or perhaps whip like? They move very intensely. They can no longer fly, however, They can use their leafy cloak to glide instead.

Salmonling? Frykids? Salmlings? Salmonoids? Salmon????? Fishkids??? Splatoon!!
A Salmonling is leaping from ink, to avoid enemy fire. It’s fins don the yellow ink color! It sports some seriously Fresh red and white kicks, a grey hoodie with white stripes from the shoulders, overlayed on a black tee! The gray hoodie’s lining is red. This salmonling’s preferred head wear seems to be a pair of black headphones, with red cushions!

Take note on the fresh fin-do this salmonling has! Sporty and cool, and a bit chunky too!

Behind this battle-ready Salmonling is a fellow teammate- still in its ink form!! Theyre kind of cute, don’t you think?

From Earlier this year, and one of my absolute Favorite designs I have made still. Still not up for sale or usage.

I do not have ideas for Poke-Dex like entries, but I can go over why I drew it the way that I did.

I wanted to create something similar to Mega Blaziken, but with a more Kamen-Rider type spin. It's not pictured here, but the elbows/wrist areas can shoot out frost-like flames or actual fire interchangeably. I think that it would look cool to see it switch between the two while fighting. They could look like wings, jutting out in such a fashion.

The scarf is here because I was a big fan of how the fire streamed from the wrists of Mega Blaziken. I wanted to keep that sort of flow and dynamism on a "standard" form of Blaziken.

The crest has been changed to a more rooster-like shape, But I think it works best due to the feather-scarf trailing off in a similar way that the old feathers once did.

I hope you enjoy!!

Ponyta + Rapidash Variants Ghost -> Ghost // Ice
The spiteful ghost of a ponyta. It tricks humans into following them into deadly situations. It seems innocent, yet sullen.

Hundreds of years ago, the Ponyta of old were captured and used as bait to lure out their parents for their horns.

The "fire" is not actually fire! They are will-o-the-wisps likes!
These rapidash have been known to display aggressive behaviors. Their fire has gone cold, and instead has become quite chilling. They were once hunted to extinction many years ago, for their prized horns.

They resurrected out of hatred and despair, growing a new twisted and sharp horn in place of the old one. If you see a lone ponyta, do not be tempted to follow it. For it will lead you to this beast.

I aimed for an alternate "elegant" feel, yet gothic compared to the other two Ponyta + Rapidash lines. I also wanted to touch on how narwhal horns were passed off as unicorn horns quite often, and keep in tact the original lore of Unicorns being quite aggressive!

Riolu and Lucario Variants Ground >> Steel // Ground
These riolu have a dusty brown coat, and light greyish purple areas of skin compared to the blue and dark gray counterparts we have come to known. These Riolu are the results of becoming hardy enough for desert-like areas, and other highly rocky and mountainous environments.

They are excellent diggers, and are popular with Mining towns and Excavation teams for their skill at seeking out mineral content and speedy digging. Their sense for aura is rather dull compared to standard Riolu, but are profoundly great in search and rescues when a mine shaft may collapse.

Their paws have become too heavy to stand up, so these types of Riolu have adapted to stand on all fours.
These are Lucario that have claws that can seemingly pierce any hard surface with enough might. Their frame is rather slender, making them perfect for slinking around tight spaces within rocks.

Popular with search and rescue teams, they are renowned for their rather gentle nature despite their intense faces.

Long ago, when towns were in search of water, It would be rare to not see one of these Lucario accompanying them for their astounding digging skills.

Even with the most precious and delicate of areas, these Lucario can remove almost anything from the surrounding ground without much disturbance.

There are stories of these hounds wandering the deserts, rescuing any that may have fallen from exhaustion, bringing them to nearby shelter and water sources.

Absol Pre Evo + Evolution Dark >> Dark >> Dark // Ice
The original idea I had to explain these guys are gone, and I do not remember.

However, I will do my best to explain what I think about these designs and what I went for.

This is an Absol Pre-evolution idea! I wanted to create it based on "innocence" since it has not witnessed tragedy yet. I was inspired a bit from by the Character Unico, as well as Beezle- who is also from Unico.
This is an evolution idea for Absol. It's single horn has grown bigger, as well as sprouting another that is quite identical to it.

The fur is thicker, making the evolution look more powerful- sort of like a ram.

It gains the ice typing because I tend to think of them occupying snowy areas, due to some of the Anime, as well as PMD. I wanted to give it a bit of a "tired but still willing to fight" look, to represent how Absol itself is shunned often and misunderstood. (Absol are known to show up when disasters will occur, not cause them!)

I also just wanted to create a rather regal-feeling absol.

    Altaria Evolution Dragon / Fairy
    An evolution for Altaria.

They are known for their ability to call rain that rejuvenates the land. However, under great sadness, their calls can create harsh downpours that can flood the land.

Seeing one fly overhead is a sign of a healthy, bountiful crops.

My thoughts for designing this was derived from an unposted design that I hadn't quite felt satisfied with yet. I wanted to really latch onto the "dragon" typing of Altaria, and boost that a bit. There are some design influences here that vaguely resemble a phoenix, which is why I would love to make it a Pokemon known for calling rain storms that can help the land.
