    BREAKING NEWS 📣 The Ontario Government has EXTENDED the emergency electricity rate relief beyond the temporary 45-day period. All Time-of-Use Electricity Rates will be reduced to Off-Peak rates for an additional 24 days, now effective until May 31st, 2020. @townofinnisfil

    The cause of the outage is due to high ground waters. Crews have restored some customers and the estimated restoration time for those that remain without power is 9:00 pm. We appreciate your patience as crews continue to safely restore power. @townofinnisfil

    Power has been restored in Big Bay Point, Friday Harbour, Sandy Cove and the south part of Stroud. Crews are still working to restore power to the remaining customers north part of Stroud, Yonge & Mapleview, Bistro 6 area. #ONStorm @townofinnisfil

    The storm caused extensive damage and thanks to our staff & crews we are happy to report all areas have been restored. Some customers require additional repairs and inspections. Thank you everyone for your support and patience. We came together as a community. @townofinnisfil

    The cause of the outage today is from a recently formed nest on the hydro pole. After heavy rains this morning the nest caused the power to flash over the insulators, therefore causing the outage. Crews are still making repairs and estimate power to be restored within the hour.
