- HUGE NEWS: We, the Indiana Graduate Workers Coalition, in partnership with @ueunion, have just delivered over 1500 union cards to the IU Board of Trustees and formally requested a union election. [THREAD]
- Another massive win after a 1200 worker strike: IU announced an end to the exploitative international student fee. This is #UnionPower: We ended the fees! ✊⚡️❤️
- Today is Pet Day on the picket line, but we understand that not everyone's pets could make it out today! Post your pets and tag us + use #IUonstrike22! Bonus if they are wearing one of our buttons, t-shirts, paraphernalia! This is Mochi! Mochi says, "Living Wage, Union Yes!"
- Striking works: After 3 years of petitions, marches, pickets, and a 1200 worker strike, IU has announced they will #EndTheFees and raise minimum stipends by $6000. But the fight is still on until we really get a seat at the table: UNION OR STRIKE! #IUONSTRIKE22
- WE'RE ON STRIKE!!!! IGWC is calling all graduate workers to withhold payment of mandatory fees for Spring semester as we demand the end of all fees! Join us in solidarity by signing the pledge to withhold fees and together we'll make IU a place "for all":

- Last fall, we submitted 1600 union cards. 2 weeks ago, IU said we aren't workers. Today, hundreds of us occupied their offices while grading, teaching, lesson planning, & researching -- precisely the work that IU runs on. We again call on IU to voluntarily recognize our union.
- HUGE NEWS: Bloomington Faculty Council passed a resolution in support of our union, urging @IUBProvost Shrivastav to immediately dialogue with IGWC-UE and urging all faculty + admin to not retaliate against any SAAs who participate in a strike. Solidarity!
