00:00 - I’ll be writing more in the morning but Pestana came through today’s operation successfully. He is comfortable and will stay with the vet for the next five to seven days. Fingers crossed.
- After the most incredible racing career, Susie Sapphire has run her last race. Owen McKenna confirmed this afternoon that his Derby, Oaks, Easter Cup and Puppy Oaks champion is to be retired to the breeding paddocks after coming in season. Thanks for the memories Susie. 💎

He would have been 71. It was pretty fitting I was in @shelbournepark. He loved the place. It’s looking well. Hopefully we’ll all be back there soon
- I'm hoarse and I don't care. Yet another remarkable night @shelbournepark. The headlines will go to The Other Kobe and rightly so but greyhound racing was the biggest winner. I'll enjoy a few drinks tonight!
