- Very very true. While in shock from a altercation, I’d tell myself “well he didn’t hit me, and I can replace/fix my things”, then one day it went into throwing things at me, swinging at me, to hitting me. It’s definitely a huge red flag. Denial is a dangerous drug.
- My pet peeve is Black Culture being co-oped as “American Culture” and then being told we have “no culture”, meanwhile all over the country & the world, people who participate and mimic “American culture” are just copying our shit 🙃
- Seeing The Color Purple with a theatre full of Black women on the first day of Kwanza is exactly what the doctor ordered. We shared tissues, applause, laughs, and deep sighs. Feeling blessed and grateful for such a beautiful night ✨

- Being a survivor of domestic violence & sexual violence and seeing these “powerful” men be brought to the fire is both liberating and triggering. So many of us have been scrutinized before we were met with compassion. We were left unprotected & unheard. 1/4
- A pattern I noticed in past friends is how they would ignore my feelings or look over them. I would be very transparent and honest, only to be met with no acknowledgment or even a moment of genuine concern. Nope, just minimizing them or blatantly ignoring by changing the subject.
- Y'all. Pittsburgh, PA is not ready to be a “diverse” city. It's a performative grant hungry town that milks its artist to feed the machine, not vice versa. Don't allow this to damper your goals, bc you doing you is what will open the path for many others after you. Keep shining✨
- Replying to @jiggyjayy2Ppl usually cheat because they are insecure asf. They don’t wanna lose an opportunity with a solid person but they sabotage it because they feel they are worthless. They need to be left tf alone & focus on themselves & why love triggers them to destroy their chances at having it.
- I love Pittsburgh. And because I love Pittsburgh, I know I gotta leave. This city still suffers from a huge lack of diversity and the market for soul/R&B/hiphop is in need of development. Mass amounts of talent, small amounts of space/support. We all need to venture out.
